You bike in Los Angeles? Where? More importantly, why?
This isn’t so much an answer as it is a process of answering. I’ve been lucky enough to have a bike and to have been able to ride around the city. I’ve been lucky enough to have made a friend or two in passing on these interwebs. I’ve been writing for a little while on just about anything over at a blog called Tamerlane, but I felt like I wanted something that focused a bit more consistently on the experience of being on a bike in this city.
Not always perfect, but few things are; but if ever a way to see this city in a new way, it might be by bike.
Thanks for reading, and please let me know if you have any comments.
Update: As a couple of people have been kind enough to point out, there’s no easy way to reach me. So please try this: labikerides at gmail dot com. Thanks!
See you on the road!

Hey There,
Is there an email address I can contact you at? I want to let your readers and riders know about the release of the City of Los Angeles 2010 Bicycle Plan. The Plan and additional information can be accessed at http://www.labikeplan.org.

Cool Website! There are more bike riders out here in San Gabriel valley (I live right near the infamous Glendora Mtn Rd) but hardly any out in the city! Good to see an organized website to keep the riders linked. Keep up the good work!
